ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Informed by the data from the latest Census of Population and Housing (2010), this 3rd edition of the CEBU book presents an update of the demographic and socioeconomic profile of Cebu Province, Metro Cebu, and their constituent cities and municipalities. It describes recent trends in population growth and density, age and sex composition, migration patterns, educational attainment, overseas employment and disability. It includes a brief discussion of selected characteristics of households and housing units in Cebu. As in earlier editions, the main purpose of this book is to provide local executives, program planners, project managers and others, a useful and easy reference on Cebu's population. Data are displayed for all administrative units down to the city and municipal levels, with selected information in barangays.
