ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dr. Leny Lara Lanaria, a family man and Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Stdies, University of San Carlos, Cebu City, was born in Dueñas, Iloilo and completed his elementary and secondary schooling in San Jose, Sipalay, Negros Occidental at the Binulig Elementary School and Cabarrus Catholic College, respectively. An ex-Salesian seminarian and missionary, he worked as a campus ministerof ten Cebu Central Colleges, now University of Cebu from 1984-89. He finished his M.A. in Religious Education at the University of San Carlos, Cebu City in 1993 and Ph.D. in Applied Theology at the De La Salle University, Manila in December 2007.
