Louella has authored/co-authored books about heritage, among which are Balaanong Bahandi: The Sacred Treasures of the Archdiocese of Cebu, Mandaue: Our Home, Our Future and the history of the town of Bantayan for the Cebu Provincial history project. She has also co-authored the official biography entitled Via Veritatis, The Biography of Ricardo Cardinal Vidal.In Hikay, Louella delves intro her passion for food, history and heritage. An unapologetic foodie, she loves to cook for her familt and for friends especially for her four grandsons Vito, Wanco, Manolo and Raoul.She lives in Cebu City with her husband Rudy in a house a particular few call "The Teahouse in Gorordo".
